SCHOOL TRANSPORT

Collège Champittet offers a school bus service using our own fleet of modern, clean, and safe minibuses. Routes serve Lausanne and the Lake Geneva area, covering a radius of approximately 25 km from our campus.

A SAFE AND RELIABLE SCHOOL BUS SERVICE

We put student wellbeing first, and our minibus fleet is designed to fulfil all safety requirements. Each of our drivers has been carefully selected based on their proven reliability and warm, friendly attitudes.

Our school transport system is based on zones. Children living the farthest away will be picked up first and dropped off last. For safety reasons, school buses are not permitted to travel on speed road sections, so exact timings may vary according to the traffic.

We offer two pick-up schedules every weekday morning. The first minibus fleet arrives on campus before 8 am, and the second arrives before 9 am. In the afternoon, return trips depart at 3:40 pm and 5 pm, except for Wednesdays, when there is only one departure at 2:20 pm.

PAYMENT, CANCELLATION, AND MODIFICATION

Whilst we try to guarantee every student a spot, we do have capacity limitations. For this reason, we recommend you register for our bus service as soon as possible. You can sign up for either return or one-way trips.

All transport prices are calculated as a flat annual fee, and transport costs are billed in advance for each term. The cost will depend on several factors:

Your zone (1, 2 or 3).
Number of trips per year: We take into consideration absences for extracurricular activities and holidays.
Discounts for siblings: We offer a reduction of 25% for a second child, 35% for a third child, and 50% for a fourth child and beyond.

Any changes to pick-up and drop-off times should be requested in writing at least two days in advance. Doing so helps us keep track of our transport and ensure the utmost safety for our students.

In the case of an emergency, we accept requested changes to routes or times made via telephone or, if necessary, SMS. Please let the driver know at least 15 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.

You may cancel your registration by informing us in writing. The following deadlines apply: 30^th September (1^st trimester must be paid); 31^st December (2nd trimester must be paid); after 31^st December (3^rd trimester must be paid).
