As a participant in our leadership camp, your growth, confidence, safety and comfort are our top priorities. At camp, students will have the unique opportunity to spend a morning at the IOC headquarters, meet Olympians and be inspired by their personal stories — exploring leadership through their extraordinary journeys.
IMD Business School
IMD, one of the world’s leading business management universities, is renowned for its leadership programmes and innovative business education. Our Senior campers will join workshops led by IMD Learning Managers and certified coaches specialising in experiential learning for teenagers. EHL Hospitality Business School (École Hôtelière de Lausanne)

- What is your phone policy?
- Your child is welcome to bring a mobile phone or iPad. However, to ensure that all participants make the most of their time at our summer leadership camp, we limit the use of personal electronics to designated times during the day.
- What is your cancellation policy?
The initial Champittet Leadership Camp down payment of CHF 1,000 is non-refundable.
If a cancellation is made 60 days or more prior to the camp: 50% cancellation fee.
If a cancellation is made 59 days or fewer before the camp: None of the camp fees will be refunded.- Which airport should my child fly to?
Our summer camp in Switzerland is closest to Geneva Airport, located about 45 minutes away.
Transfers to and from Geneva airport are included on arrival and departure dates during these times:
• Flight arrivals: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Flight departures: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
An additional fee applies if arrival/departure is on a different day or outside these hours.
- Can my child travel to/from the summer camp alone?
- The minimum age for travelling alone varies by airline and country of departure. If your child is under 15, they may travel using the Unaccompanied Minor (UM) Service. If you’re interested in this service, please notify us, as the airline may require additional information from our side. In Europe, children aged 12 and older (15 for certain airlines) are generally allowed to travel alone. Please note that the UM Service may incur additional fees from both the airline and Collège Champittet.
- What kind of food is served at camp?
- Our nutritious summer camp menu is freshly prepared by our chef, who is committed to ensuring the quality and flavour of our meals. We always have a vegetarian option, and we accommodate allergies and dietary requirements.
- Do you have a nurse on campus?
- The safety, health and wellbeing of our summer campers is our top priority. Our school nurse is on campus every day until 10:00 pm and on call during the night. Any prescribed medication is kept by the nurse, and she makes sure campers take their medication. We are in contact with local doctors for any serious issues.
- Can my child choose their roommate?
- If your child would like to share their summer camp room with a friend, please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee it. We aim to mix different nationalities when organising room planning to encourage intercultural exchange and global friendships at our summer camp.
- Where do campers sleep?
- Campers stay in our Boarding House, located in the historical building of Collège Champittet. There are two floors for girls and two floors for boys. Most rooms are doubles, though some are triples, and campers are assigned rooms based on age, gender and nationality.
- Can I get a Visa Support Letter?
- Yes, our team will be happy to provide a Visa Support Letter for your child to attend our summer leadership camp. Please note that we can only issue this letter after the full camp fee has been paid.
