At Nord Anglia Education, we believe in developing well-rounded students who are equipped with the skills and mindset to succeed in all aspects of life. Our collaboration with IMG Academy—the world’s leading sports education institution—gives students the opportunity to build confidence, resilience, and leadership through high-performance athletic training and personal development programmes.

Sport is more than just physical activity; it teaches discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—skills that are essential for success in academics, careers, and life. Through this collaboration, students experience IMG Academy’s world-renowned approach to athletic and personal development, with access to expert coaching, wellbeing resources, and mindset training that help them thrive in competitive environments.

Students also have exclusive opportunities to take part in high-performance training at IMG Academy’s state-of-the-art campus in Florida during annual, weeklong events where they work with elite coaches in sports such as football (soccer), volleyball, basketball, and more. Additionally, IMG Academy+ Essentials, an online platform, provides all Nord Anglia students and parents with expert-led courses in mental resilience, nutrition, and peak performance strategies.

Our teachers and support colleagues also benefit from this collaboration, through professional development and training from IMG Academy’s world-class coaches. This ensures our educators stay at the forefront of sports education and can inspire students to reach their full potential.  With IMG Academy, we are helping students develop lifelong skills that prepare them for success—on the field, in the classroom, and beyond.

The Juilliard School in New York City is one of the world’s leading institutions for performing arts education. This collaboration is one of Nord Anglia’s most unique and special, allowing our children access to the skill and experience of world-leading performing arts delivered by our outstanding teachers. The programme is designed to educate all students—those with career aspirations both in and beyond the arts. All our students benefit from the magic of dance, drama and music and those with existing passions will have their eyes opened by incredible world-leading teaching methods.

Our exclusive collaboration offers unparalleled opportunities to learn new skills – from building confidence and an ability to unlock self-expression, right through to an immersion in – and appreciation for – different cultures. We know how important the performing arts are to your child's development, because creativity is a key that can unlock the imagination and significantly transform your child's education across every subject.

We also provide students with the chance to participate in the Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard programmes in the USA; immersive experiences where students explore music, dance and drama in depth and form lasting relationships with others passionate about the arts from across the world. Unique programmes designed by The Juilliard School and taught by their teachers offer students an inspiring and fun-filled experience, during term-time and in the holidays.

Our teachers enjoy the benefits of being trained by world-leading performing arts educators, with each school having designated Juilliard Curriculum Specialists assigned to work with them. This active community encourages collaboration and professional development through frequent communication and school visits.

Creativity and collaboration are the keys to solving some of the world’s biggest problems. At Nord Anglia, we aim to develop great thinkers and innovators, and our collaboration with MIT offers your child a wide array of resources and opportunities to engage with interdisciplinary STEAM learning, building a strong foundation for their future.

Through the MIT Nord Anglia Collaboration, your student will take on complex, real-world challenges from leading experts and researchers across disciplines. From cancer-fighting nanoparticles to creative climate solutions, the library of MIT video resources has something for every learner. Students are encouraged to think outside the box, ask questions, and get curious about the world around them.

The collaboration offers Nord Anglia students several ways to engage directly with MIT: live, interactive webinars with graduate students, ongoing video series, and even the chance to participate in our annual week-long visit to MIT’s campus. Each year, our STEAM students explore labs and workshops, get to know students and faculty, and collaborate on exciting projects with new friends from schools across the world.

The collaboration also provides essential professional development resources and opportunities exclusively to Nord Anglia teachers. Through webinars, an interactive website, and an annual visit to MIT, our teachers are well-prepared to help STEAM students develop the skills they will need to thrive in our fast-changing world.

Stay curious!

We want children around the world to be empowered to make a difference, both in their local communities and globally. Our partnership with UNICEF helps us do this by developing challenges and learning materials based on the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that allow them to think practically about how to effect real change. These materials are then made available to teachers and students all over the world, as well as at our schools.

These SDGs form the basis of our Social Impact Programme and our annual Global Challenge. This is a chance for our students to take on projects like recycling, making positive change in the local community – even learning how to turn plants into biofuel. We also use activities surrounding World Children’s Day to educate our students about their rights, how to protect them, and how to advocate for those who may not have a voice.

For students interested in the policy side of making a difference, UNICEF gives them the opportunity to meet and interact with UN and government leaders at the UN High-Level Political Platform (HLPF). Student ambassadors who attend can participate in seminars and workshops, as well as getting the unique chance to speak at the UN’s headquarters in New York.
