Frequently asked questions

  • How do I apply to NAISAK?

To join our thriving British-international community, you'll need to follow our simple step-by-step admissions process.

    • Start your journey to NAISAK today by filling in our online enquiry form. We’ll get back to you within 24 hours, Sunday to Thursday (our response time may differ in the school holidays).
    • We’d love to show you around our campus, where you’ll meet our talented teachers, get a feel for our community, and discover how we personalise learning. You can either book a tour in advance or drop in during school hours.
    • Next, you'll need to complete your application online or fill in our form during your visit. In line with Ministry of Education requirements, you’ll also need to provide some supporting documents.
    • Your child will then sit a short, age-appropriate assessment. This is not something that can be passed or failed; it’s simply to ensure we can meet each student's needs. Your child can take the assessment during your visit if you’re looking to secure their place quickly, or you can schedule a suitable time with our admissions team.
    • Once we've reviewed your child’s application, we’ll make you an offer. You should receive this within 24 hours of their assessment.
  • How long does your admissions process take?

From the moment you get in touch with us through to the offer of a place, our admissions process can take as little as one day. Timings do vary, though, as each child’s application journey is different. Please contact our admissions team to find out more.

  • Can my child start halfway through a term?

We accept enrolments throughout the year, in line with Ministry of Education deadlines. To find out more, please speak to our admissions team.

  • Are you a selective school?

No, we’re proud to be a non-selective school where every student can reach their true potential.

To enable your child to flourish here, we’ll carry out an interview and assessment before they start with us. We'll also undertake regular academic assessments in class to make sure they're on the right pathway. We have an excellent special educational needs (SEN) department, too, which supports children with additional needs.

  • Can I commute to your school from Doha?

Yes. We’re conveniently located on the coast of Al Khor, which is an easy 20-minute drive from both Lusail and Doha Festival City. We currently operate four bus routes from these areas to our school, and are adding new services all the time, based on demand. Please get in touch with our admissions team to find out more.

  • What do your tuition fees include?

Our tuition fee structure is designed to be fair and transparent, and is approved by Qatar’s Ministry of Education Higher Education (MoEHE). This ensures our students receive the best possible education, while maintaining affordability.

NAISAK's fees will cover your child’s tuition, access to our state-of-the-art facilities, school-led extra-curricular activities, and various student support services. Fees also include exclusive Nord Anglia collaborations with The Juilliard School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and UNICEF.

  • Do you charge an application fee?

Yes, we do. The fee covers the administrative costs of your child’s assessment. You can find out more on our tuition fees page.

  • Is the process different if my company pays the fees?

If your company is paying your child’s tuition fees, please send us a letter confirming your employment and our finance team will speak to them directly. If you plan to get your fees reimbursed, please go through the normal admissions process and then submit the invoices we send you to your employer’s HR team.

  • What curricula will my child follow?

All our students follow the renowned National Curriculum of England. Used by more than 30,000 schools worldwide, our British academic programme is respected by the world’s top universities and employers.

Our youngest learners (ages 3-5) follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). In primary (5-11) and secondary (ages 11-16), students follow our Key Stage 1-4 curriculum, which includes IGCSEs. Students in our sixth form (ages 16-18) study for their A-levels.

  • What’s the difference between A-levels and the International Baccalaureate?

A-level students typically specialise in four subjects, alongside a range of extra-curricular activities and projects.

International Baccalaureate students follow subjects in six thematic groups, as well as being assessed in core competencies, abilities, and values.

  • Do you offer extra-curricular activities?

Yes, we offer a broad range of extra-curricular clubs, which will give your child every opportunity to do what they love. From sports and creative arts to science and music, our enrichment programme encourages students to showcase their talents and pursue new passions.
