    We use the National Curriculum for England as our framework. Some subjects are taught in Vietnamese to ensure our students still maintain Vietnamese language and perspectives. Our students graduate with the renowned international A Levels qualification, accredited by the University of Cambridge Examinations Board and accepted by all leading world universities. We have a unique approach that allows us to teach an international curriculum in a fully integrated environment. This is one of a kind in Vietnam.
  • 4. How does English proficiency develop across different year groups at BVIS?
    • Primary: Students receive approximately 60% of their learning in English and 40% in Vietnamese. This balanced approach ensures that students develop fluency and confidence in both languages from an early age.
    • Secondary: As students progress, the proportion of English increases significantly with around 93% of instruction delivered in English. This prepares students effectively for further academic study and future opportunities in an international context.

  • 7. What are BVIS IGCSE and A-Level results compared to international benchmarks?

    Over the years, BVIS students’ results in the International GCSE and A Level examinations have consistently exceeded the averages in the UK, based on Ofqual statistics. Specifically, 62% of BVIS students’ IGCSE grades were A*-A, compared with the UK average of 21.8%; for A Levels, the A*-A rate reached 42%, while the UK average was 28.2%

    In the 2024–2025 academic year, we’re incredibly proud to share that our Class of 2025 has received over 305 offers from top universities across the globe. On the international academic map, the US, the UK, and Australia continue to be the most popular destinations, leading in the number of offers received by our BVIS students this year.

    Notably, these outstanding results in international examinations have helped our students build impressive academic profiles. As a result, the Class of 2025 has collectively secured a remarkable USD 6.67 million in scholarships – a testament to their serious commitment to learning, relentless effort, and exceptional determination.
