In Years 10 and 11, our students follow the English National Curriculum, which culminates in their IGCSE exams.
The IGCSE syllabus is set and marked by a UK-based examinations board, Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE). Cambridge IGCSEs are the most popular international qualification in the world for 14 to 16-year-olds, taken by students in more than 145 countries each year.
IGCSEs are widely recognised as the ‘gold standard’ in secondary education. They're highly valued by employers and universities all over the world.
As well as offering a balanced curriculum, our IGCSE programme develops academic reading and writing skills, as well as investigation, problem solving, teamwork, recall of knowledge, and initiative. Most subjects have both a core and extended curriculum, meaning students of all abilities benefit from an appropriate level of challenge and support.
