Frequently asked questions

  • How long does the application and enrolment process take?
From the moment you get in touch with us to the point we offer you a place, our admissions process should take no longer than two weeks.
  • Will my child need to sit an entrance assessment?
Yes, all prospective students sit some form of assessment. This will differ depending on the age of your child. We may also invite you to an interview with our Head of Primary or Secondary (this can be done in person or online).
  • Can my child start mid-semester?
Yes, absolutely. You can apply to join our school at any time. That said, we do advise families to try and enrol their child at the start of the academic year (August). This will ensure they don't miss any education and can more easily settle in alongside new classmates.
  • Is there a waiting list?
When applying, our admissions team will let you know if there is a waitlist or not. They'll also confirm the likelihood that a place will become available for your desired start date.
  • What is the purpose of the application fee?
The application fee covers the administrative cost of your child's assessment. With almost 1,000 enquiries each year, the fee also allows us to identify those parents who are most committed to sending their child to our school.
  • Is the process different if my company pays the fees?app
Our aim is to make the process as straightforward and simple as possible for you, the parents. In the event that your company will be paying school fees, our Admissions Team and Finance Team will be happy to liaise directly with your company on financial matters, allowing you to concentrate on your child’s education and well-being.
  • How can parents get involved in school life?

Our parents are an integral part of the Northbridge community. We warmly welcome new families and run a vibrant parent group, who are committed to making our school a great place to be.

To find out more about our parent group, please email: info@nisc.edu.kh.

  • Do your students wear a school uniform?
Our students wear a PE kit and house shirt for sports classes. You can buy these from the school shop on campus.
  • Do you provide school lunches?
Yes, we do. Our catering team creates healthy and delicious school meals, which students enjoy with friends in dedicated spaces. Food is purchased through a catering card supplied by the school.
  • Is there a list of school dates available?
You can find a full list of our key planned dates on the website calendar for 2021-22. If you'd like to learn more details about any of these dates, please reach out to your child's classroom teacher.
  • Do you run a school bus service?

Yes, we operate a convenient school bus service for our students, which will ensure your child arrives safely and on time every day.

To find out more, please email: info@nisc.edu.kh.
