We were delighted to bring the whole school community together on the final day of Term 1 for the first Principal’s Award Assembly of the academic year. Held in front of students, staff and parents, the assembly was a meaningful and uplifting way to close the term and to celebrate the values that define our school.
This term’s Principal Award focused on our C value of Confident. The award recognises students who consistently demonstrate confidence in their learning, in their relationships with others and in the positive way they contribute to school life. Confidence at our school is not just about speaking up. It is about resilience, self-belief, courage, kindness and the willingness to try new things.

One student from each year group, from Year 1 through to Year 13, was selected to receive this special award. As each student was invited to the stage, our Principal, Mrs Vaughan, shared the story behind their nomination, highlighting the individual qualities, growth and impact that made them truly deserving recipients. These moments offered a powerful insight into the many ways confidence can be shown, both inside and outside the classroom.
Each award winner received a trophy along with a special ‘Confident’ pin, which they will wear on their blazer with pride as a reminder of their achievement and the values they represent.
We are proud to recognise the following Principal Award recipients for Term 1:
