On Monday 21st November, 6 students represented BISB Primary in a pronunciation and performance competition.

A new year of MUN and we have new students on our Executive Board, all voted for by their fellow CCA members.

On Tuesday, 29th of November our Year 12 Theatre students will be performing “Every Brilliant Thing” to an audience of students, family, and friends.

We would like to notify you about a wonderful opportunity to contribute to a Holiday Present Drive, which gives used toys, books in mint or great condition and sweets to Hungarian Romani children between the ages of 0 and 12 who come from very low-income households, and otherwise wouldn’t receive presents for Christmas.

In Year 2, we have been learning about how to stay healthy. As part of that topic, we have been learning about keeping our teeth healthy following a visit from a dentist. We conducted an experiment using eggshells to see how different liquids can damage our teeth.

The theme of our third literary walk was Radnoti Miklos: one of the most prominent poets of the Hungarian Holocaust.

Next Thursday, November 24th, we are encouraging all students to wear blue to show their support for UNICEF and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child as part of our World Children’s Day activities.

This week in Year 1 we have been rehearsing our Talk 4 Write story The Three Bears.

The YES project in Year 6 is always an exciting time for the students. The concept of the YES project is that students set up a company and design a product to sell.

The start of November means only one thing... MOVEMBER!!!

In preparation for Anti-Bullying Week, the students enjoyed a social story.

A safe space for our younger students (mentees) to reflect, feel heard and be supported. A growing opportunity for the older students (mentors) to be empowered with leadership skills.

This week, Year 13 have been exhibiting their CAS projects to demonstrate their actions and learning from this strand of the IBDP Core.

On the final day before half-term, we held the Grand Final of the Year 9 Dragons' Den competition

This week the Year 4 classes visited the site of the ancient Roman settlement of Aquincum, to launch our new topic on The Romans

Since September the dance.club students have been working together to choreograph a Halloween inspired dance.
