On Tuesday 14th March, we enjoyed a Performing Arts evening provided by our Year 10 IGCSE students in Music and Drama.

On Saturday the U19 Girls Basketball team travelled to ICSB to compete in their end of season DVAC tournament.

Our Model United Nations team had an enjoyable and successful time at the KARMUN conference at Karinthy Frigyes Bilingual school.

Tuesday of this week was ‘pi day’ named because the date (the American way at least!) was 3.14 (March 14).

Year 7 have been looking at forces and spent a little time making parachutes to experiment with the effect on the air resistance if the shape or size of the parachute canopy is changed.

In honor of International Women's Day, students in Year 8 and 11 in the French class, researched and presented women who made a difference in their home country. 

English themed week began on Monday, February 27th. It was an exhilarating week, culminating in World Book Day and our seventh ever Boscars Awards Ceremony.

Year 11 are invited to attend various Science revision drop-in sessions over the next six weeks.

Our six artists have worked diligently to create a diverse range of artworks from short animations to architectural models, dealing with various topics from sustainability to identity.

The much anticipated and twice postponed performance of Journey's End finally took place this week. Deftly directed by Mr. Kirk Wootton, soldiers' lives in the trenches of the First World War, were made vivid and poignant through the exceptional acting from the cast of students from Years 10, 11 and 12.

On Monday the 6th February all the year 6 students went to the High Voltage Laboratory at the Technical University.

Year 11 have been looking at exothermic and endothermic reactions (exo- giving out energy or endo- taking in energy - usually heat).
