Your child has the power to change the world. In our supportive international community, they’ll learn how to do exactly that. Through meaningful experiences and global collaborations, your child will explore the challenges facing our planet and take purposeful action to address them. They’ll learn to lead with confidence and compassion, in our school, in Abu Dhabi, and beyond.

living our school values

Our values of honesty, kindness, and respect are woven into every child’s daily experience. Through the BISAD Diploma, our students are encouraged to actively demonstrate these values, whether they’re supporting a local charity, mentoring a younger student, or helping to make our school more environmentally friendly.

Our Personal, Social, and Moral Education programme is embedded across the curriculum. These lessons give students time to reflect on their wellbeing, relationships, and responsibilities as global citizens. In Primary, for example, students create shared floor books that capture their personal, social, cultural, and moral learning, building a strong sense of identity and community.

We also integrate the UAE’s Moral Education Programme, exploring character, community, and culture in age‑appropriate and engaging ways. This holistic approach helps our students develop resilience, empathy, and a deep understanding of the world around them.

having a global impact

Our Social Impact programme, delivered in collaboration with UNICEF, challenges students to make a difference in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Each year, selected students participate in the Nord Anglia Global Challenge at the United Nations headquarters in New York, contributing to debates and exploring global issues.

Through World Children’s Day and linked learning experiences in school, students learn about their rights, and how to advocate for others.

Through Nord Anglia’s Social Impact Distinction framework, our students lead practical initiatives that promote dignity, equality, diversity, and belonging across our community. They take meaningful action by developing their own social impact projects and, when ready, can apply for Nord Anglia’s global Social Impact Grants, a fund that brings student ideas to life in areas like sustainability, wellbeing, and inclusion. These opportunities ensure our learners don’t just understand global challenges; they actively shape solutions.

the adventure of a lifetime

Our citizenship expedition to Arusha, Tanzania, is a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience. Here, students work alongside changemakers and partner organisations on community-led projects, gaining new perspectives on sustainability, culture, and global responsibility. The experience builds confidence, independence, and empathy, qualities that stay with them long after they return to school.
