Nursery Rhymes are a fun and easy way to support children’s speech and language development, help with their physical and social needs, and help build important foundations for literacy skills.
Throughout last week, students in Nursery learned different rhymes and completed a variety of activities. The students sang the rhymes they had learned throughout the week on stage for their friends. To celebrate the end of World Nursery Rhyme Week, students came to school dressed as their favourite Nursery Rhyme characters and performed the rhymes for their families.
